About Us

The Cranston Chamber of Commerce is a private, nonprofit organization servicing the business community of Cranston and surrounding areas.  Our mission is to provide access to needed resources and equal opportunity for all businesses to succeed,  grow and thrive. The Chamber seeks to attract and promote businesses to prosper in the City of Cranston by providing economic development initiatives, business-specialized benefit packages, access to current data, advertising & promotional opportunities, referrals, a forum to discuss  the economy with others, networks and advocacy on issues affecting the business community.

Most importantly, the Chamber is comprised of PEOPLE who realize that, through the Chamber of Commerce, they can accomplish collectively what no individual one of them can do alone. The Chamber is the voice for the business and professional community.

We work for you to...

• Support and improve the business community in the City of Cranston and the State of Rhode Island
• Seek to attract and promote business to locate and expand in Cranston through economic development initiatives
• Provide a linkage between the business community and other important groups (government, education, etc.) for the betterment of the Cranston community and its future
• Provide business and professional development opportunities
• Provide a legislative network for business at the local/state/federal levels
• Provide specialized benefit packages - health care, telecommunications, payroll, workers' compensation and other discount programs - to Members
• Provide promotional and advertising opportunities for Members
• Provides advocacy and representation on behalf of the business community in areas affecting the growth and development of the Cranston business community

The Cranston Chamber of Commerce unites hundreds of business firms and professionals, thus creating a unique central agency working to improve the business environment and to build a better community.
