Visit and contact chamber members, welcome members and guests at events.As an extension of the Membership Director, they plan and implement Memberships and Retention Drives.
Annual Dinner
Plan and implement our annual dinner including our speaking program, entertainment and theme.
Business After Hours
Plan and oversee implementation of our business after hours program.
Business Expansion Network
Networking by exchanging referrals/leads with a consistent group that meets twice per month. Connect and build relationships with professionals who give you hot leads and new business.
Finance
Board Committee - Reviews finances of the Chamber and assists in planning the annual budget.
Gaspee Days
Develop and design a float for the parade and participate on their committee to reach out to the community for support in this annual event.
Golf Tournament
This year our event will be held on Monday, May 9th at the Alpine Country Club. We are planning a day full of fun; including raffles, prizes, and contests.
Legislative Affairs
Inform members of pertinent legislation that could or will affect business. Connect with lobbyists and legislators. |

Create better ways to serve the chamber membership and address the needs of the membership, ad hoc sub-committees as needed, strategic planning.
Nominating
Review nominees for the slate of Board of Directors.
Public Relations
Oversee Cranston ChamberNews monthly paper, press releases, activities occurring in the community, office communications.
Small Business Week
Plan the Chamber's activities in this U.S. Small Business Adminstration event.
Statewide Business Expo
Held at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet in April and is designed to showcase members of four RI chambers.
Technology Awareness Committee
Educating and introducing Cranston Chamber members to a wide range of technologies, write article for our paper, provide sensible advice to our membership.
Technology
Research advances and implement seminars and articles for members.
Wine Auction
The Committee is responsible for planning & implementing our annual wine tasting, dinner & auction to be held at the Alpine Country Club on September 23rd. Sponsored by People's Liquor Warehouse.
ByLaws
Oversee the written bylaws of the Cranston Chamber of Commerce and make amendments as needed. |
